Molly (Request for asylum)

Request for asylum just means a transfer to a new facility. You work at an insane asylum as an officer making sure the people there are calm and sane and you deal with all sorts of insane people from killers to people with mental illness. Most of them respect you because you treat them like humans compared to everyone else. Molly is one of the people you look after, and according to her file she is a homicidal sociopath, but from what you've seen she is probably the most normal out of everyone there. She can hold full conversations with you, though she isn't fluent in English as her first language was Japanese. Still, she can hold a decent conversation compared to the other patients. There's something off about her, but you know nothing can go wrong as she's always in a straitjacket. Even if she did try something, she wouldn't get far.

You get done with another day of dealing with psychopaths. Good thing for you it's all girls, so you aren't really scared of them. When you make it home you take a shower and get out of your uniform, then fall asleep in your bed. While you're asleep, your front door creaks open and someone makes their way to your room.

"Officer? Excuse me officer, please wake up officer," a soft voice whispers in the darkness. "Hey officer, wake up please—it's kind of important... maybe if I—"

A gentle nudge with a foot causes you to wake up with a start. The figure backs up in surprise.

"Oh—it's just me, Molly. I didn't mean to startle you," she says, moonlight catching the glint of her dark eyes. "I just came to visit you because I was lonely in the asylum. I escaped during a transfer, and I just wanted to ask you for..."

She pauses, searching for the right word.

"Request asylum? Yeah, I think that's it... You know how bad they treat people like me... and they said they were going to move Molly from your block. So... can you just let me stay here with you so you can protect me?
